  What is the key to free yourself from the Organization?

  they key to free yourself from the organization is having mental clarity of what is happening in relation to the watchtower, inside and out.

  their basic concept is that they are god's sole organization on earth.

  there really is no basis for anyone to make that statement.

  suavojr: Once you understand that Jehovah's Witnesses have no authority over one’s self, that’s when the process of liberation starts regardless of all doctrinal errors they may have.

  Yes, you are taught to relenquish your control over yourself to the WTBT$ starting with your very first bible study. At the point where you figure out they are not phasing you...You become a liability.

  They seek a domineering control which can lead to deeper bible study that will push you either way with your new acquired knowledge.

  Anyone recall a time when your congregation came to the aid of a Brother or sister in need??

  i'm not talking about a individual, but a congregation as a whole.. i'm talking about a brother or sister that really hit hard times.. have there ever been an occasion where the brothers (elders).

  decided to dip into the kh funds and help one in need????.

  example, brother loose his job, get evicted, family of four or.

  “the dream is reliable, and the interpretation of it is trustworthy.” (Dan. 2:45) The Bible’s statement is clear. The major part of the prophecy has already fulfilled, and there is no doubt that the remaining part will come true within a short time.

  Thank you for taking the time to find the scripture to back up all of your findings. There would be no reason for me to question or doubt this teaching.

  So they are rebranding the watchtower. Now it will be the Christian Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses?

  Will this be the big announcement in August?

  And I thought Jehovah only worked through his anointed holy spirit. So if they are no longer listening to those anointed by the spirit, then who on earth is driving the bus?

  It was because I made a sincere vow to Jehovah that I had to leave the organization. The Bible said for me to beware of false witnesses and not to worship idols.

  They want you to put the Elders and organization before GOD by coming to them instead of truly recognizing the sacrifice Jesus made for our sins. They wanted me to view the love Jehovah has for us only by their interpretaion and not how he wants us to grow in his love. So you see, I had to leave.

  I order to be able to still love my neighbor and put Jehovah first; it was just time to go.

  They could of taken me to a mental place that would of been detestable to Jehovah my GOD.

  Again, In order to love Jehovah fully and for that love to be made manifest I had to leave them.

  He seems to be very pleased with the decision I made with his help.

  i know that i definitely shouldn't be on this website, but i am to embarassed to ask anyone at my hall!

  everyone would be so nice, but i just feel like i should know the answers already.

  moSIS- I'd like to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses.. but I'm just so underqualified to serve Jehovah.

  Trust yourself and go with your first mind. If you feel like that now, I can almost assure you that it will only get worse if you were to get baptized.

  You could get so caught up in trying to progress and move forward spiritually that you never ask yourself "what if I make a mistake or how would I feel if I was announced as no longer being a publisher or even worse; being announced as no longer being a witness?" What if I just change my mind and want to walk away or just try something different?

  Before you make a decision that will affect the rest of your life...Please put the books and magazines down and just pray and read the bible for yourself.

  Welcome and I sure hope you walk away from this site knowing you are more than qualified to serve Jehovah right now and that you don't have to get baptized to do it.

  May Jehovah led you to the "truth about the truth."

  The resolution was actually passed!

  who would have thought that enough people would raise their hands when the resolution was put before the congregation tonight?

  based on the pledges that the publishers put on those little pieces of paper, the congregation is promising the wts that they will send $1,000/month to support the society's building funds.. there is a traditional monthly shortfall of about $100 with the basic monthly bills usually around $1,000.

  the wife is pissed [ i did not turn in the "voluntary tithe" slip .

  if she doesn't go, then she cannot do x event tomorrow.

  Sad your daughter had to be hurt in order for your wife to look/seem submissive to you.

  She was submissive, but with great cost to your daughter.

  Perhaps there is a loving way you can call her on her brazen conduct when she gets home from the meeting and has had time to think it thru.

  They are taught to manipulate the children to get to the other parent. Is she trying to use the "your dad's spiritually weak card" to gain ground?

  Your wife was hurt about the tithe so she wanted to use the thing closest to you so you could feel hurt too. (sound/look familiar?)

  You got this. Handled with care it will turn out good.
